My Everyday Makeup Routine

When it comes to makeup, I am definitely an amateur. I don’t do a lot of experimenting with makeup (though that is something I would like to do in the future), so my everyday look is very simple and easy to achieve.

Primer: Recently I have been using the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. On top of my daily moisturizer, this hydrating primer ensures that my skin will not become dry due to makeup application.
Cruelty Free: ✔️

Liquid Foundation: I have been using the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation in Fair Neutral for a couple of years now. I love how light it feels on the skin, it’s not at all cakey, so it is perfect for the summer months. I like to apply this foundation using my beauty blender.
Cruelty Free: ✔️

Powder Foundation: To avoid looking shiny/greasy from the liquid foundation and to protect my skin with SPF, I like to apply a light layer of Jane Iredale’s Powder-Me SPF in Translucent with a foundation powder brush.
Cruelty Free: ✔️

Eyeliner: I have tried many (and I mean many) different liquid eyeliners while searching for the perfect one. The closest I have ever come is the Amaterasu Liquid Eyeliner (in black). Unfortunately, I do not believe that Amaterasu is cruelty free, which is why my search is still on-going. Regardless of what brand eyeliner I choose, I always go for my signature wing.
Cruelty Free: X

Mascara: Like with eyeliner, I am constantly switching up my mascaras looking for the perfect one. I am currently using the Too Faced Size Queen Mascara, but I find it’s too crumbly and ends up falling under my eye when applied to the lower lashes.
Cruelty Free: ✔️

Setting Spray: I have been using the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray for years now, and I believe it does the job well. It’s the only setting spray I’ve ever tried, so I am definitely open to any suggestions for other products.
Cruelty Free: ✔️

Those are all of the products I use for my everyday makeup look. Like I said, very simple. On special occasions I will use eyeshadow and lipstick, but for school I prefer to keep it light and casual.

Do you have any suggestions for liquid eyeliners, mascaras, or setting sprays that I should try? Let me know in the comments!
