On Thursday I went on a bit of a shopping spree at a mall close to me, so I thought I would share some of my finds! I made purchases at Sephora (stay tuned for Thursday’s beauty post to see what I bought!), Forever 21, H&M, Dynamite and Old Navy.
I hope you enjoy reading and maybe find some inspiration from the pieces I found.
Little Black Dress
I had been looking for a strappy black dress to wear under a gorgeous see-through shirt I had previously purchased form Urban Outfitters. Luckily I came across this dress (the only one left – thankfully it fit!) at Dynamite for $20 CAD.
Lately I have been loving Old Navy’s clothes; the quality is great, and their summer collection has the cutest patterns! This dress is tighter at the top and flows more at the bottom. That type of design really works well with my body type, so I like it. This dress was on sale from $34.94 CAD to $24.46 CAD.
On this trip I was looking for something specific that I had seen a lot on social media. Denim skirts! I knew they had been quite popular recently, so I wanted to try them for myself. I found two at H&M that I liked, so I decided to purchase them. They were a little more than I had hoped to pay, $29.99 CAD for the light blue and $34.99 CAD for the black.
I definitely should have checked out this store before H&M, because Forever 21 had at least triple the number of denim skirt styles that H&M had. After looking around I decided to keep the H&M skirts, but also picked up this ripped light blue one from Forever 21. Though it is similar to the one I purchased at H&M, the rips make it a lot different to me. This skirt was $30.90 CAD.
If you’re keeping track, I spent almost $100 just on denim skirts, lol. The good news is, I have a lot of tops that will go well with the skirts and make lovely outfits.
Those are all the clothing items I bought on my shopping trip, make sure to look out for Thursday’s post, where I will talk about my Sephora purchases!
