Skincare routines are one of my favourite things to read about in blog posts and watch in YouTube videos. As someone with dry skin and frequent breakouts, I love learning about different products people have used to combat their own skin issues. Keep reading to find out what products I use to maintain (fairly) clear skin.
I was introduced to the brand dermaviduals® through the spa I work at, as this is the skincare line we carry and offer to our clients. The thing I love the most about this brand is that their moisturizers are customizable, meaning your specific skin needs and troubles can be addressed.
After splashing some water on my face, I pump a nickel-sized amount of cleanser onto my finger, then rub the product into my skin using circular motions. To remove the product, I use a wet face cloth.
This cleanser is very soothing and hydrating for dry skin. It also removes makeup quite easily.
This toner feels absolutely incredible on the skin, it hydrates as well as reduces my blemishes. I typically spray 3-4 times to cover my whole face, then use my fingers to smooth it over my skin.
This is the fun part, the customizable moisturizer! I can’t exactly remember what was put in mine, but it was definitely things for dry skin, breakouts, and sun protection. I use a dime-sized amount of this day and night, though the brand does have a cream specifically for the daytime, which includes SPF.
If I see a spot that’s about to come up, or one that’s already visible, I like to dab a bit of this product onto the area. A little goes a long way with this product, so it lasts a very long time considering it’s only $15.
FACE MASK (Weekly)
I don’t use face masks regularly, but I like to try out different ones every so often. I received this mask in a Vegan Cuts Beauty Box last year, and I really liked it. It didn’t dry out my skin like a lot of face masks do. Unfortunately I won’t be repurchasing anytime soon, as the price point is a bit too high for me.
In case you are interested in trying any Palmetto Derma products, I received a card in my Vegan Cuts box with a coupon code (Mask20) for 20% OFF.
Lips are important too, so I like to use these two products to keep them hydrated. I received the lip scrub in a Vegan Cuts Beauty Box (you can tell that I got my money’s worth with that box, so many great products), and my favourite part is that you can eat the excess product! The lip balm came in the Sephora Summer Essentials bag I mentioned in my Sephora Haul post.
What skincare products are you loving right now? Do you have a favourite face mask you would recommend?
