You might think this post is a bit late considering it’s already August 8th, but don’t worry, I’ve been working on these goals since the 1st 😉 I just wanted to wait until today to post this as Tuesday’s are my lifestyle post days!
Personal Goals:
✩ Read at least three books. This one should be quite easy as I’ll be going on a road trip with my family at the end of the month. I like to read in the car, and last year I finished a whole book (13 Reasons Why) in one sitting!
✩ Work out at least 4 times a week. This was in my Summer Goals post, but I completely abandoned the bowflex machine last month. I am back in the routine now though, so my plan is to continue with that.
✩ Organize my closet. I’m hoping to do a blog post on closet organization this month, but first I need to clean it up a bit.
✩ Start participating in the #100HappyDays challenge! I began this challenge on August 4th, and I’m hoping to complete all 100 days.
Blog Goals:
✩ Reach 300 WordPress followers by the end of the month (Currently: 179)
✩ Reach 400 Twitter followers by the end of the month (Currently: 313)
✩ Reach 400 Instagram followers end of the month (Currently: 312)
✩ Post according to my schedule AND on time. I slacked big time last month, posted too many posts a day late, or skipped them completely.
✩ Make more time for reading other people’s blog posts & leaving comments
What are some of your goals for August?
Thanks for reading,
Some great goals! I work out and I use to every. Single. Day. But then u went to Utah and haven’t kept up with it. Yesterday I went and oh my gosh it feels good to be back. It makes me feel good that I’m being more active and doing something for my body since normally I binge watch youtube while eating chips and chicken nuggets 24/7. I have a feeling you’ll reach all these goals but good luck, Chloe! xxx

Working out is definitely a great goal to have, but sometimes life gets busy and it gets forgotten.

I have some of the exact same goals haha! I think setting goals monthly is such a great way of making sure you can meet them! I’m currently trying to read more blog posts from other people as I feel like I’ve been slacking. Great post, can’t wait to see if you reach those goals! xxx

I’ve slipped up on the 100 happy days challenge already, but I’m not worrying too much about it, as the challenge is mainly to stop and appreciate the little things that happen everyday 🙂

Those are awesome goals! I am excited to see you complete them! 🙂 What three books do you think you’ll want to read? And how do you think you’ll organize your closet? I personally organize all my t shirts by color and my drawers by categories. Also, could you tell me more about the 100 days challenge? I have never heard of it but I would love to try it! 🙂

I have quite a few books in my to-read pile, but I think I’ll take “The Year I Met You by Cecelia Ahern”, “Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid” and “Me Before You by Jojo Moyes” on my holiday 🙂
I usually organize my shirts by sleeve length and then colour, I’ve just been lazy recently and haven’t kept up with it.
The 100 Happy Days challenge (100happydays.com) helps people stop and appreciate the good things that happen to them everyday. You participate by registering on their website and then posting a picture everyday on Facebook, Twitter, or IG of something that made you happy.
Thank you for your comment! 🙂
