Balance Influenster VoxBox | How to Get FREE Products to Review

A huge thank you to Influenster for sending my second ever VoxBox (read about my first one here). For those who are not currently signed up, Influenster is a website/app for reviewing products, in categories including beauty, skin care, food, family and more. When you start reviewing products and connecting your social media accounts, you accumulate points which put you in the running for FREE boxes of goodies to review! You can sign up for free here.

The box I received is called the Balance VoxBox, and includes food and drink items for a healthy lifestyle. I truly enjoyed each of the products in the box, which I don’t say often about boxes with random assortments of items (such as subscription boxes). Keep reading to learn about each of these products!

Davids Tea | Turmeric Glow | Lemon Cayenne Cleanse | Organic Detox | Photo by Chloe Plus Coffee

DAVIDsTEA | Turmeric Glow, Lemon Cayenne Cleanse, Organic Detox | ~$10 CAD

Though my heart belongs to coffee, I do have strong feelings for tea as well. There is something very soothing about sitting down and relaxing with a cup of tea… but maybe that’s the British in me talking.

All three of these flavours were delicious, in fact, I already had a tin of the Organic Detox sitting on my kitchen counter! I do want to do some research on the actual “detox effects” these teas have, if any.

Clif Bar Nut Butter Filled | Energy Bar | Photo by Chloe Plus Coffee

Clif Bar | Nut Butter Filled Energy Bar | ~$3 CAD

I find that most Clif Bar’s have that semi-bitter “healthy taste”, but it’s not unpleasant. This is definitely a very filling snack, perfect for after a workout. The flavour I received was Chocolate Peanut Butter, but the other options of nut butter filled bars are Chocolate Hazelnut Butter, Peanut Butter, and Coconut Almond Butter.

I have seen Clif Bars for sale at Costco before, so that’s definitely an option for buying a lot for less money.

Herbaland Protein Gummies | Vegan | Photo by Chloe Plus Coffee

Herbaland | Protein Gummies | ~$4 CAD

When I found out exactly what gelatin was made of, I was quite upset. Learning that there are companies that create vegan gummies was comforting, so I was excited to try these. If you like to eat healthy, these are an excellent snack as they contain 28g of fibre, 10g of protein and only 1g of sugar.

These are definitely a thicker consistency than non-vegan gummies, almost like a tootsie roll. The package I received was a 10g sample (regular retails packs are 50g), and included four flavours; Organic Banana, Papaya Paradise, Kiwi & Friends, and Wild Berry. A few of the flavours were a bit too strong for my liking, but the rest were tamer.

Vea Snacks | World Crisps | Tuscan Herbs with Roasted Garlic Flavour | Photo by Chloe Plus Coffee

Véa Snacks | World Crisps | ~$7 CAD

For this brand, I received a coupon to exchange for one of their products in store. I chose the World Crisps in the flavour Tuscan Herbs with Roasted Garlic. The taste of garlic is definitely prevalent (which I personally love), but there’s also a subtle spice due to the herbs. I finished this bag way sooner than I care to admit, so I think it’s safe to say I’ll be repurchasing these!

These snacks have no artificial colours and only 90 calories per 12 crackers. They also have 6% Iron and 8% Fibre.

Have you tried any of these items before? What were your thoughts? Let me know in the comments!
