When I noticed that Well.ca had a sale on the Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails gummies, I decided to purchase them. I had never tried gummies with biotin before, so I was interested to see if I would get any results.

The bottle I purchased contains 80 gummies, which is enough to last 40 days.
After 40 days had passed, the most noticeable difference I found was that my eyelashes had grown a fair amount. Usually, my eyelashes look fairly sparse and uneven lengths. After finishing the gummies, I noticed my eyelashes were all around the same length, and were growing fairly long.
Halfway through the gummy regime, however, my face began to break out, more than usual. My skin typically has one or two blemishes, but other than that it’s under control (thanks to dermaviduals®). Now, I can’t be sure that the gummies were the cause of this face flare up, but it was likely a contributing factor. I had googled “biotin” (the main ingredient in most hair, skin & nails vitamins), trying to figure out if it would interfere with my medication, but instead found that excess biotin in the body can cause acne. Because of this, I will likely not be using vitamins with biotin in the future.
My overall opinion of these vitamins is: while it is possible that my eyelashes have become stronger and longer due to these gummies, I am not willing to risk face flare ups to get these results.
Of course, like all products, this might not be the case with other people. If you are interested in trying vitamins to improve the appearance of your hair, skin and nails, I encourage you to do so. The risk is quite minimal, so I would say it is worth a shot at having thicker hair and nails.
Have you ever tried hair, skin & nails gummies? What results did you find?
