🎵 “It’s the moooooooooooooost wonderful time of the yeeeeeeeear” 🎵
I LOVE candles. They make the room smell incredible and feel just a little bit warmer on those cold winter days. While I love purchasing candles from Bath & Body Works, I never pay full price ($24.50 CAD for a three-wick). I prefer to go when they’re having a 2-for-1 sale.
Here are the candles I chose this year; some were re-purchases, while others I have never tried before!
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
“Harvest Pumpkin, Spiced Clove, Vanilla Cream, Brown Sugar”
This candle smells mainly of cinnamon, as the name would suggest. I don’t actually pick up the smell of pumpkin due to the overpowering cinnamon, but it is a pleasant scent overall. It makes the room smell as if you’ve been baking all day, which is lovely.
Mahogany Teakwood (High Intensity)
“A confident new take on our classic home fragrance – Mahogany Teakwood – intensifies beautiful notes of rich mahogany, teakwood, oak and frosted lavender”
Mahogany Teakwood is one of my all-time favourite scents, which is why I now opt for the high intensity version. The only thing that comes to mind when I smell it, is a man’s cologne. It’s a very captivating scent.
Cactus Blossom
“Cactus Flower Petal, Sun-Kissed Coconut, Vanilla, Fresh Sparkling Lemon”
This is a new scent to me, and I would describe it as a seductive perfume scent. I don’t really pick up on the items B&BW have listed in their description, but it is a wonderful scent nevertheless.
Autumn Apricot
“Harvest Apricot, Mango Nectar, Sugared Musk”
Another new scent to me, Autumn Apricot immediately reminded me of the White Mango Chill body spray that I used to wear in high school. B&BW no longer sell White Mango Chill, so if you loved that scent then I would recommend purchasing this candle.
Hot Cocoa & Cream
“Made with notes of Milk Chocolate, Steamed Milk and Nutmeg Essential Oil”
This one truly does smell like a cup of hot cocoa; absolutely delightful.
Frosted Cranberry
“Made with notes of Iced Cranberries and Orange Essential Oil”
The last candle I purchased was a new one, and it is perfect for the upcoming holiday season. The candle smells fruity, almost in the same artificial way as car air fresheners.
If you decide to purchase from Bath & Body Works online, make sure to use Ebates*! They currently have 1% cash back for B&BW, and often there are “double cash back days” or similar promotions.
